VIDEO | POLARIS RZR TRAIL S 1000 V RZR TRAIL S 900 EPS | Comparisons | Tested

They may look the same but the Polaris RZR Trail S 1000 and RZR Trail S 900 EPS are actually quite different. Check out our comparison between the two.

The Polaris Trail S 1000 and Trail S 900 were introduced to the Australian market last year. Despite a lack of recreational riding areas the Trail S range still sold well for Polaris with Aussie drivers using them for work as well as play. The extra ground clearance compared with a Ranger and the narrow body compared with a RZR and even some Generals made them popular machines. So we decided to pit the Trail S 1000 and Trail S 900 against each other in the ultimate comparison.

The Trail S 1000 we used for testing was the Premium version (the only version available in Australia and the Trail S 900 was the EPS (also the only version available in Australia). We tested them for some easy work like mustering and checking fences and also took them both through our trail loop.

In the end, we leant towards the Trail S 1000 Premium as our preferred vehicle simply because the extra $2000 in price represented great value for money. From the Walker Evans shocks to the longer a-arms and of course the grungier motor, the extra doh is worth the go. The Trail S 1000 Premium comes in at $21,990 while the Trail S 900 is $19,995.
