TJ’S SXS MUSTER COMING UP | LIFESTYLE | News

TJ'S SXS muster is just around the corner and we're excited! Here's all you need to know before getting there.

The Australian Off Road Vehicle Association (AORVA) have been building the profile of side-by-sides (SxS) in Oz for a while and have created a reputable community of enthusiasts that enjoy everything SxS has to offer. In recent months, we’ve covered how AORVA have worked to open up access to more ride areas, as well as organising weekend rides for their members, like TJ’s SXS Muster.

Coming up in late October is one of AORVA’s biggest organised events on their calendar. The AORVA SxS Muster at TJ’s 4B Park is shaping up to be an all-round great weekend with not only acres of space available but tonnes of activities to entertain families when they’re not strapped in to their SxS. TJ’s 4B Park is located in Howes Valley which is about 1.5 hours north of Windsor and 1.5 hours west of Newcastle, a perfect space for locals of Sydney and the Newcastle/Hunter region. The park has 1000 acres of natural bush complete with rocky mountain terrain, untouched bushland and lush grassed open spaces.

The varying terrain makes TJ’s a playground for SxS machines and over the course of the muster, riders will be able to sample the beauty of the property while also challenging  themselves and their machines. When finished for the day, attendees will park up at one of TJ’s main communal campgrounds. If riders wish to revisit TJ’s in a smaller group, there are also separate campsites spread around the property for privacy. The Muster will run from 28 to 30 October, 2022, that’s a Friday to Sunday.

As usual with most things SxS related, being an AORVA member is a huge benefit. Prices for the weekend are discounted for members making it even more affordable. The price of admission for an adult AORVA member is $180, while the enty fee for an adult that is not an AORVA member is $200. Don’t forget, joining AORVA is free! So why not get on board and enjoy the immediate discount.

Your entry fee will cover the following:

  • Two nights camping
  • The Saturday night AORVA- sponsored big roast dinner
  • Sutto’s Powersports sponsored breakfast
  • Can-Am sponsored sausage sizzle lunch
  • Muster tours
  • Endless riding in the park,
  • Prizes and giveaways
  • Quality yarns around TJ’s massive campfire with live music and nibbles on Saturday night.

The TJ’s4B Park AORVA SXS Muster is a great way to sample what SxS is all about. Non-driving passengers that wish to come along for the thrill of it are also welcome and entry will cost $85 per adult, $40 for a child 13-16 years old, $30 for kids 5-12 years old and those under 5 are free. A key goal for AORVA is to appeal to families and with great value pricing for the whole family with child-friendly events and camping, the muster is sure to be a hit for groups looking for a real weekend away in the bush.
