KTM UNVEILS NEW SIX DAYS MODELS
Legendary dirtbike manufacturer KTM has unveiled its epic Six Days models which look incredible but will they cost more than a Polaris Trail S 900?!
As the 2022 FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) edges ever closer, KTM has recently taken the opportunity to unveil its new enduro motorcycles, including its SIX DAYS special editions that celebrate the brand’s long and successful association with this historic event. This fact is reinforced with KTM being the first manufacturer to introduce a SIX DAYS model range, a tradition that now dates back almost twenty years.
Traditionally the SIX DAYS models ask a pretty hefty price tag because they come loaded with all the good stuff (see below) and it always seems Aussie off-roaders aren’t short of a quid with the every single model selling out before they even get here. Last year the 2022 KTM 500 EXC SIX DAYS was a little over $18,000 and we are guessing the MY23 500 EXC-F SIX DAYS might be over $19,000. For the same money you could get in a Polaris RZR 900 Trail S!
We know, chalk and cheese. One has four wheels and a steering wheel while the other has two wheels and a handlebar. but, they both go off-road and they both do better when they’re covered in mud. Like the seemingly never-ending Polaris range of RZRs, Generals and Rangers, KTM too have a plethora of bikes to choose from in their standard models from 50cc to 1290cc. And like Polaris their business model is to get riders in when they’re young (on a KTM 50SX like Polaris does with their new RZR 200 which you can win here!) and ensure they stay KTM or Polaris fans their whole life by providing a bike or side-by-side for every step of their life.
The 2023 KTM SIX DAYS line up comprises of no less than six different models – this includes a duo of two stroke machines and a quadruple offering of four stroke motorcycles, as follows:

As you would expect, all the KTM SIX DAYS models are designed and built for the rigors of the ISDE and benefit from an array of exclusive parts that includes orange anodised triple clamps, a solid rear disc, plus a softer and grippier seat – finished in blue and red and which incorporates a French flag design with this year’s event set to take place at Le Puy-en-Velay, France from Monday 29 August to Saturday 3 September.
