CFMOTO Australia has added a long-wheelbase six-seat UTV to its local range – the UFORCE 1000XL.
Based on the current UFORCE 1000 platform, the UFORCE XL is a bigger beast.
Price is $21,990 drive away, and for that you get an automotive-inspired cabin and all the latest 2022 updates to the UFORCE 1000 family: two drive modes (Work/Normal), electronic hill descent control, a five-inch TFT display and a new livery: Midnight Blue.
The XL has all the same technical, electronic and styling features as the standard model – but it doe shave a 4500-pound (2041kg) winch. The XL has towing and carrying capacities of 800kg and 350kg respectively.
To facilitate the extra passengers in XL mode, CFMOTO has increased the wheelbase to 2850mm (up from 2050mm). There’s plenty of room in the spacious and stylish cabin, as well as integrated USB/12V outlets front and back and easily accessible storage areas.
The middle consoles of both bench seats are foldable, which can then be used as cup holders and/or multi-purpose trays.
The frame has been beefed-up to handle the increased XL stresses, and it also has stiffer springs, larger swingarm shafts, new steering knuckles, a revised master cylinder and larger front discs – up from 210 to 230mm in diameter.
The XL’s 963cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, SOHC, four-stroke V-twin has been tuned for strong bottom-end and mid-range torque. Maximum power is 71hp (53kW) at 7000rpm, and peak torque is 74Nm at 6500rpm.
Other standard features on the UFORCE 1000XL include electronic power steering, a ride-by-wire throttle, roof kit, limited-slip rear differential, a ROPS-approved cage, tow pack, horn, lights and mirrors.
All the existing UFORCE 1000 accessories will fit the XL version, and 50mm powder-coated nerf bars will soon be added to the inventory for extra side protection and sidestep capability.
The UFORCE 1000XL has a three-year warranty, and is now on sale in Australia.
