2023 HONDA PIONEER 500 AND 520 REVEALED!

Overnight, two of the 2023 Honda Pioneer machines were revealed in the US, the 520 and 500, which have both received a fresh colour way.

The 2023 Honda Pioneer, small-capacity side-by-sides didn’t receive any major changes from the 2022 Pioneer range but they were part of a broader reveal including the FourTrax ATVs which we won’t be getting because of the ROP laws. Honda’s smallest side-by-sides—the Pioneer 520 and Pioneer 500— are back for the 2023 model year with no changes but a reminder of their proven reliability.

“We’re pleased to confirm the return of our Pioneer 520 and 500 side-by-sides, as well as three families from our FourTrax ATV range,” said Brandon Wilson, American Honda Manager of Sports & Experiential. “These vehicles share the ability to perform work on the ranch, farm or worksite, while also being trail-ready for the weekends, embracing the do-it-all ethos of multipurpose powersports.”

2023 Pioneer 520
The Honda Pioneer 520 has narrow chassis dimensions, great for narrow trails, but it’s still quite capable. Its reliable 518cc engine and the independent front and rear suspension are pretty darn impressive and relatively comfortable control across varied terrain. The dump bed handles up to 450 pounds of tools, supplies or equipment, and a wide range of available Honda Pro-Connect™ accessories offer additional cargo solutions for both work and play. Many people may not know but the Pioneer 520 is designed and manufactured in the US. It fits the mould of a family-fun, multipurpose side-by-side.

2023 Pioneer 500
The Pioneer 500 is a great entry point into the world of side-by-sides, and is a great fit everywhere from the job site to the trails. Thanks to its narrow 50-inch width, this compact little side-by-side can also slice through smaller trails, and it fits in a full-size pickup-truck bed for convenient transportation, if you’ve got a Yank Tank. It has a 205kg-rated rear-rack and 455kg towing capacity, which is on the low end for a small-capacity side-by-side.
