POLARIS RZR SWEEPS 2025 BAJA 1000 | News
Cayden MacCachren led an all-Polaris podium at the brutal 2025 Baja 1000, securing the brand’s third straight win
Polaris RZR Factory Racing capped off the 2025 SCORE Desert Series with a flawless performance, going undefeated for the year and scoring a third-consecutive Baja 1000 victory. Cayden MacCachren and co-driver Ethan Groom shared the wheel of the No. 1821 RZR Pro R Factory, grinding through 835 miles of punishing rocks, silt and bottlenecks to take a hard-earned win at one of the roughest Baja courses in recent memory. Groom started the race, with MacCachren taking over at race mile 411 for a relentless final push, carving through San Felipe whoops and technical mountain sections to claim his second Baja 1000 triumph.
Polaris dominance continued as Max Eddy Jr. and Brandon Sims brought their RZR Pro R machines home in second and third, sealing a complete Polaris podium sweep. The result underscores the capability of the race-bred RZR Pro R Factory platform, built around a reinforced chassis, long-travel suspension and a 255HP H.O. powerplant. Further down the order, Brock Heger delivered the composed ride he needed in the No. 1896 to clinch the 2025 SCORE Pro UTV Open Championship, rounding out a season in which Polaris swept the class points standings.
