THE SCHOOL BEHIND THE KURATAU RIDE | LIFESTYLE
There are plenty of ways to raise money for good causes but nothing's beats ripping in your side-by-side and raising funds at the same time.
The Kuratau School SXS Trail Ride sponsored by Bike Torque and Polaris, is an epic event. Not only because it offers some of the best trail riding in the North of New Zealand or because it’s run with military-like precision but because your raising money for a worthy cause at the same time.
All the proceeds from the Kuratau School SXS Trail Ride go back to the school to purchase things like play equipment, art projects and technology. This year, organisers can confirm there were 305 units entered and the event raised $23,000 for the Kuratau school! What an awesome effort from all involved.
Check out this video shot with the Kurata School Principle Shirley Bailey and Deputy Principle Bronwyn Hunt as they explain what the money raised from the ride means to the kids who attend the school and how much work goes into making the day as good as it is.
